Choose RAM for your framework
A bare test server can be light. Live QBCore/ESX with scripts and peak players usually wants 8–10 GB. Start a Spirit trial, watch resmon, then upgrade if needed.
Deploy the FiveM egg
Order via billing, select FiveM, wait for auto-provision. Start the server once so folders generate.
Upload your resources
Use SFTP or the file manager to upload your server.cfg, resources, and SQL if required. Keep resource names tidy and ensure lines match.
Database & secrets
Point connection strings at your DB. Never commit passwords in public repos. Restart and watch the console for missing dependencies.
Test with friends
Share IP:port, verify OneSync settings, and load into your spawn. Fix errors before advertising the server.
Protect and back up
DDoS is included on Spirit. Download regular resource and DB backups — Friday night is a bad time to learn you have none.
